Who is it for?
The MSc in Marketing is aimed at recent university graduates and junior professionals with strong quantitative and analytical skills, with previous studies preferably in Economics, Statistics, Communication, and Business Administration. Other degrees are accepted only if the candidate has at least 2 years of marketing-related professional experience.

Curriculum
The MSc in Marketing consists of 4 core modules over 3 terms: Strategic Marketing Planning, Consumer Insights: Market Research, Brand Management, and Communication Management.
During the third term students will be able to choose their elective courses. Students will also prepare and present their MSc thesis, supervised by a specialized faculty member throughout the year.
During the third term or at the end of the master students will do a curricular internship in companies. Career development sessions will be offered to aid students in finding the placement and preparing them for their professional future.

The Master of Science in Marketing also includes the possibility of participating in practical activities and activities for personal and professional growth such as:
- Brush-up Courses: preparatory crash-courses on business and economy-related subjects which take place two weeks prior to the beginning of the program.
- Spanish Course: free of charge during the first term. 3 hours/week course at the UPF's language school.

- UPF-BSM Inside: is a group of interdisciplinary subjects (applied data, communication, creativity, innovation and project management, sustainability and leadership among others) that, if you take this program, you can access at no additional cost. They are 100% online and you can take them throughout the academic year at your own pace, as they have been designed as self-study subjects.
Qualification obtained
Once students have completed the course they will obtain the Màster Universitari en Màrqueting / MSc in Marketing - Máster Universitario en Marketing / Msc. in Marketing official Master's Degree awarded by Pompeu Fabra University.
Students will also receive an additional Master of Science in Marketing completion certificate awarded by the UPF Barcelona School of Management.
Issuance of official Master's Degrees: The amount stipulated in the DOGC (Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia) must be paid for the rights to issue the title. This rate varies annually and the rate in force at the time of application for the degree will be applied.

Methodology
The Master of Science in Marketing is an on-campus program that combines different teaching methodologies in its various courses in order to offer a rigorous and interactive learning experience, involving both individual and group work.
Seminars and lectures
Seminars provide students with the opportunity to share ideas and experiences as well as to debate different points of view. Many of the seminars are based on practical cases, and most work is carried out as part of a group.
Practical cases
Practical cases provide the background for the application of models and techniques in order to produce insights.
Group-based activities
Classes are mostly interactive and include continuous assessment.
Simulations
Simulations provide an opportunity to practice these models and techniques.
Written examinations
The academic performance of each student is evaluated regularly through written examinations and course work.
Evaluation
The assessment criteria of each course will be explained at the beginning of the term. The evaluation system may vary from course to course but it will be based on the student's performance on a selection of the following activities:

- Class participation and interventions in debates
Tools
Project-oriented learning and the combination of lectures and active methodologies such as case studies, flipped learning, solving real problems and professional simulations allow the student to connect theory and practice, acquire advanced skills and achieve learning which is transferable to work.

Admission and enrolment
Our admission process consists of a rigorous evaluation of each application to preserve the quality of the group as well as the training, experience, and work capacity of all students.
Who can apply?
Bachelor degree
Applicants must have finished or be in the last year of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Ideally, students should come from any of the following academic fields of study:
- Economics
- Statistics
- Communication
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
Other degrees will be considered if the candidate has at least 2 years of marketing-related experience.
If you are currently studying the last year of your Bachelor Degree, you will need to finish your university studies and obtain your final diploma before the beginning of the program. If you finished your Bachelor Degree some time ago, you should preferably not exceed 3 years of working experience in a position relevant to the program's field.
Proficiency in English
An official English certificate is required in order to be successfully enrolled.
If you do not have your English results at the time of admission, you will be required to provide them two months before the course starts. Admission without an official English certificate will be considered conditional until the certificate is provided.
The English certificate scores are:

Applicants whose mother tongue is English do not need to submit the aforementioned certificate.
Applicants who have completed their full Bachelor's Degree at an English-speaking university must submit written evidence that the language of instruction of their studies was English.

Applications for admission will be evaluated when you complete the following steps:
- Complete the online admission form.
- Pay the €120 admission fee. This amount will be returned if you are not admitted.
- Send the following documents through the online platform e-registrar:

- 2 academic recommendation letters (mandatory) and 1 professional (optional)
- Scanned copy of university degree (if you are in the last year of your degree, you can provide your academic records)
- Scanned copy of Transcript of Records. Make sure that it includes your GPA (Grade Point Average)

- Passport-size photo (jpg format)
Additional documents may be requested in certain cases.
Applications are subject to the number of places available on the program.
Admission
- The Admissions Committee will select the candidates on the basis of a personal or CV-based interview.
- You will be notified of the admission decision in writing.
Enrolment
- Resgistration must be paid within a 15 days after the admission.
- Once the letter of acceptance to the program has been received, you will need to submit the following original documents before the course begins:
- Stamped and/or authenticated photocopy of your university degree.
- Stamped and/or authenticated photocopy of your transcript of records.
- If you have a foreign degree you may need to submit additional documents.
- Paying the reservation fee (25% of the program's tuition fees) is essential in order to reserve your place
- If you pay the tuition fees by bank transfer you will be required to introduce the program code. The program code for this course is 1555.
- The remaining tuition fees must be paid 2 weeks before the start of the course.
