Presentation

Information relating to the new edition of the programme will be updated soon.

Internet has revolutionised both personal and business communication. The tools of the so-called 2.0 Web (blogs, social networks, etc.) facilitate bi-directional communication. The uni-directional model based on monologues can no longer survive; the new communicative model is based on conversation, participation and interaction. The market requires professionals with skills in communicative, executive and organisational strategy to provide a response to this panorama of new needs.

Applying the rules of the offline world we have known thus far is not enough. New ways are needed to approach a changing reality: new business models, new ways of acting, new parameters for evaluating results, new professional profiles in teams and new skills.

The postgraduate in Strategic Digital Communication offers in-depth knowledge of this change in the communication paradigm and provides the tools necessary for designing strategies within this environment.

Aimed mainly at organisations and entrepreneurs wishing to implement innovative digital strategies, the postgraduate provides them with the opportunity to train by putting actual projects into practice. This is the best way of acquiring the skills proposed and one of the differences of the programme compared to the wide range available.

This is a multidisciplinary programme which analyses the phenomenon of communication from different perspectives (business, legal, design, drafting, and so on), but always with the common core of communication.

Objectives

  • Understanding the implications of the Internet and 2.0 Web within the scope of communication in the information and knowledge society.
  • Examining in depth the new paradigm of digital communication from a multidisciplinary perspective.
  • Becoming familiar with the different 2.0 tools and the possibilities they offer from the point of view of business communication.
  • Learning to design a strategic digital communication project, with the possibility of putting it into practice.
