This Postgraduate Programme in Web 2.0 Communities, social networks and video on the Internet intends to cover a void in the current teaching options in our country, offering both professionals and people connected to digital content creation (web designers, etc.), or those aspiring to enter such a dynamic sector, knowledge of the most up to date techniques and tools necessary for creating applications within the current social network scene, where contents are generated by users.
These techniques and tools enable the most common problems in the sector to be dealt with successfully, based on the design and creation of dynamic web pages, up to the development of the more complex applications of web 2.0., such as communities, and the distribution of contents of any type such as video and audio on the web.
The Postgraduate Programme in Web 2.0 Communities, Social networks and Video on the Internet is intended to train professionals within the scope of practices, techniques and tools related to the creation of web 2.0 applications.
The current context will be introduced, where digital contents (films, music, news, blogs and podcasts) are distributed into social networks, both on the conventional web and on mobile devices. Work will be done with tools suitable for the creation of dynamic contents generated by users, always displaying and participating in projects aimed at practical results.
As a final practical, a complete application will be developed, a community distributing digital content adapted to a certain specific sector.

This Postgraduate Programme in Web 2.0 Communities, Social Networks and Video on the Internet is aimed mainly at professionals and those involved in digital creation (web designers, publicists, etc.) wishing to enter the current web 2.0. scene and become familiar with the state of the art of these types of applications, learning the basics of the techniques and development stages of these types of projects.
