Methodology

Postgraduate Programme in Fashion Media and Journalism 3.0 (DCMOD)

The teaching model is based on active learning by participants. Therefore, the theoretical sessions will be accompanied by practical exercises, group work, class discussions, analysis of problems and their resolution in specific proposals.

The course has a blog, http://sichanellevantaralacabeza.blogspot.com, led by the students themselves, where they reflect on fashion by applying the knowledge acquired.

Students must prepare a magazine specialising in fashion and/or trends, including the whole process from the editorial concept to content production and layout.
A branding workshop will also be held, consisting of analysing a fashion brand and its identity, specified in an image proposal.

Final Project

In order to be awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion Media and Journalism 3.0, students must prepare a Final Project and defend it orally before a jury. Completing this project will be a mandatory requirement for being awarded the qualification.

The aim is for participants to be able to integrate the knowledge acquired in each of the Programme's modules.

Tutorials

Participants will be supervised and receive teaching support from the module tutors during the taught part of the programme. Tutors will monitor participants by guiding them in their studies and providing them with the criteria needed to find, choose and analyse information, in addition to resolving queries and keeping the dialogue active, a fundamental resource for sharing experiences and knowledge.

Evaluation

Assessment

In order to be awarded the corresponding qualification, participants must pass the Final Project, the practical exercises and mandatory coursework and regularly attend classes (at least 80%).

Other

The virtual campus
Our programmes use the virtual campus, called Aula Global, as a place of continuity between presential sessions.

Aula Global, as a virtual learning environment offers multiple functions to facilitate communication, to access information and to deliver activities.

The Aula Global of each program is the space where participants will find the documentation of the subjects. They can also check out activities, check grades and access the program schedules. Similarly, the Aula Global provides access to various areas of communication.
