The Postgraduate Programme in Accounts Management and Auditing provides the knowledge and tools necessary in order to optimise the accounting and finance area of the company, as well as all knowledge relating to accounts auditing procedures.

This postgraduate course may be studied in face-to-face, blended learning and online formats.

• run a finance, economic and financial or accounting and management control department of the company,
• work in external auditing or in company internal auditing departments,
• take optimum financial decisions and relate the progress of the economic and financial environment with the strategy of the organisation, prepare and control finance policy,
• learn how to obtain information on the company itself and its environment,
• implement financial planning, analytical accounting, budget control and management control systems, and
• perfect the necessary management skills in the areas of finance and accounting.

Accounts auditing is one of the areas with most opportunities for graduates in the fields of business and economics. This discipline enables them to become familiar with numerous companies within the most varied sectors, enriching the perspective of those devoted to this activity.

Given the great corporate responsibility implied by the profession, the levels of knowledge and requirements are high. It should be pointed out that the implementing of International Accounting Norms in Europe means that the role of auditor is even more relevant.

The objective of the programme is to reach these levels of knowledge and requirements. To do so, the programme offers full rigorous training, with the guarantee of Pompeu Fabra University and a team of lecturers consisting of university specialists and outstanding professionals.

Proof of theoretical ability in the procedure to enter the chartered accountants' register (Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas) (ROAC): the Postgraduate Programme in Accounts Management and Auditing can dispense with the proof of theoretical ability in the entry procedure to the ROAC.
