The Postgraduate course Specialising in Civil Lawsuits (DLC) studies in depth the new Civil Procedure Act 1/2000 and the innumerable
practical problems this is causing. As it is a new, complex regulation, theoretical and practical knowledge of it is essential. Moreover, the programme
devotes one section to the new Insolvency Law, paying particular attention to its procedural aspects, and another to the new Arbitration
Law.
Since these are new regulations, this involves a change of mentality in the legal players to whom they are addressed. To achieve this, the programme
combines theoretical analysis with the raising and solving of practical problems, through various teaching techniques:
analysis of the case law and doctrine existing on such new law, case studies, conferences and multimedia presentations, debates and speeches, among others.
All this is combined with the learning of other equally important techniques for the litigator: negotiation, public speaking, writ drafting techniques,
and a long etcetera.
