Fees and Funding
The MBA full time programme tuition is 25,000 Euros.
If admitted, a non-refundable deposit of 2,500 Euros must be paid to secure a place. This 2,500 Euros deposit is applied towards satisfying tuition costs. In the event of personal circumstances preventing a candidate from attending, the admission offer is held for one year. In this case the 2,500 will count towards the tuition fee of the year of programme attendance.
Alumni
As part of the celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the IDEC, former students of the IDEC and the UPF (including Erasmus students) are being offered a 50% discount on enrolment for the 7th MBA full time course, which commences on 22 September 2008.
Top Ten Scholarships
Women Scholarships to mark the Year of Equal Opportunities at the IDEC-UPF
2 scholarships of up to 40% for women of any nationality. Individual scholarships are awarded on the basis of previous academic performance, professional experience, personal qualifications and suitability for the MBA.
MBA Assistantships
2 collaboration scholarships of 6,250€ for a collaboration of 10 hours per week during the 15 months of the programme.
How to apply
To apply for such awards, applicants must submit a letter explaining their case. This letter must state the reasons for applying to the MBA full time programme. Supporting documentary evidence may be requested at a later date. Those resident and paying taxes in Spain will be asked for their tax declaration documents. Letters for financial aid assistance must reach the programme office by 30 June 2008 to be considered.
Outside Funding
Candidates are encouraged to identify and apply to different funding sources. Outside financial assistance is available from both public and private sources. Examples of scholarships obtained by current graduate students at UPF include Rafael del Pino Foundation, Soros Foundation, Generalitat de Catalunya and the Spanish Ministry of Education.
