  • Daniel Serra 
    Graduated in 1984 in Economics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona , and obtained a master in systems analysis and his PhD from the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in 1989. He is currently Professor of Management at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). His fields of specialisation are business logistics and quantitative methods in management. He has more than 30 publications in international journals, such as European Journal of O.R., Computers and O.R., Journal of the Operational Research Society, Network and Spatial Economics, Journal of Regional Science, Geographical Analysis, Papers in Regional Science, among others. He belongs to the editorial board of Geographical Analysis, International Journal of Regional Science, Supply Chain Practice, and International Journal of Operations Research and Information Systems. He is currently the Director of the Institute for Territorial Studies and Vice Rector for Economics, Information Systems and Institutional Relations at the UPF.
  • Anna Torres 

    Graduated in 1996 in Business Administration from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and obtained a Master in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), in 1997. She got her PhD in Economics and Management from the UPF, in 2001. She is actually professor of marketing at the UPF. Her research interests are branding, international marketing, ethics in marketing and preferences representation. She has published in international journals such as International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Research and Food Quality and Preference.
