General conditions
- General conditions apply to all IDEC programmes except those which specify particular conditions.
- To obtain the corresponding qualifications:
- Master's: a university degree or recognised higher diploma
- Postgraduate diplomas: undergraduate degree, diploma and/or graduate degree from a recognised university.
- Exceptionally, and on certain programmes, candidates without the required university qualifications will be accepted by virtue of their professional experience and their position in the company. In this case they will receive a diploma awarded by the Institut d'Educació Contínua de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
- The closing date for participants to present the documentation necessary to complete their academic file is 30 June, 2009. No qualifications will be awarded to any participants who, despite having completed the programme, have not presented the required documentation before this date and paid the 200 € fee for qualifications processing.
- Applicants for Master's and Postgraduate programmes will undergo a selection process, the first stage in which is to fill in the online application for the programme in question, submit a CV and pay the 110 € pre-enrolment fee. This amount is fee will be refundable refunded if a candidate the applicant is unsuccessful or the programme is cancelled. The IDEC and the programme's academic directors will assess applicants on the basis of their CV and, where appropriate, a personal interview, and their decision will be communicated in writing in a letter of acceptance to the programme.
- Pre-registration and registration payments are personal and non-transferable.
- The complete registration fee must be fully paid before the beginning of the programme. Payment will not be recognised until the corresponding bank has confirmed receipt. For programmes which allow payments in instalments, these amounts must be guaranteed.
- IDEC will only return registration fees (with a 10% charge for administration costs) if notice is given up to a week before the course begins.
- IDEC reserves the right to cancel the programme up to a week before it is due to start if there is an insufficient number of participants, without any other obligation but to return the fees paid by each participant.
- In the case of registering for a programme with independent modules, the maximum period for completion is 3 years, except if the programme explicitly states otherwise.
- In the case of courses offering grants and/or work experience, enquiries should be made during pre-registration.
- In order to obtain qualifications it is essential to attend a minimum of 80% of classes, as well as to pass the corresponding tests and present any work required.
- Qualifications
- Participants will have the right to receive a certificate for the programme they have studied. Any other qualification to which they are entitled due to forming part of a programme's itinerary will be subject to an additional issue charge of 200 € (including VAT).
- Copies of degree certificates will be subject to an issue charge of 70 € (including VAT).
- Academic certificates will be subject to an issue charge of 20 € (including VAT).

- In the event of failing the programme during the established academic year, registration fees for the following edition will be 200 €. If students have specific programme modules or subjects still pending, they must pay the registration fee and the proportional part of the outstanding credits.
