IDEC, as a part of Pompeu Fabra University's academic community, has access to the many collaborative and exchange agreements which UPF has undertaken with universities around the world.
The growing presence of foreign teaching staff and participants on IDEC programmes, together with the international dimension which characterizes the contents taught, contribute to enriching the training of professionals who need to develop personally in the globalised world.
Latin America and the Mediterranean are the main areas where this activity takes place.
IDEC keeps an intense collaboration with universities from all over the world on the development of training projects with an international scope. It also takes part in the main European and Latin American networks which bring together the most important university institutions in continuing education and business schools.
These relations go on to become agreements for certain programmes, such as the MBA with ESSEC (Paris), San Andrés University (Argentina) and Torcuato di Tella University (Argentina), the Masters in Public and Social Policies with Johns Hopkins University (USA) or the Advanced Health Leadership Forum with the University of California (Berkeley). Agreements have also led to dual degree programmes with outstanding institutions such as Tec de Monterrey (Mexico City Campus), Diego Portales University (Santiago de Chile) and Universidad de la República (Montevideo).
Participation in various international networks leads to a constant exchange of experiences as well as collaboration in multidisciplinary projects which have an international impact.
"It's so enriching to be able to keep in touch with all those people who you have at least one thing in common with: enormous confidence in the institution which has allowed you to share knowledge and experience and, as a result, to be more creative."
