A dynamic university committed to the future
Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) -a public institution founded in 1990- now forms part of the city's framework and actively contributes to its dynamics. Committed to research and a leader in this area, it is at the forefront of two major projects: the Biomedical Research Park and Barcelona Media Park. UPF has gained international prestige in terms of both research and teaching.
IDEC (The Continuing Education Institute) is a non-profit making foundation. It was founded in 1993 and was the result of a commitment to continuing education on behalf of the University and a group of leading companies and institutions with a global vocation and local roots. In an environment of experience and knowledge, it stood out as a stimulus for new ideas and as a place to understand the world of business, to share the present and lead into the future.
