Fifth Annual MBA Meeting and Graduation Ceremony for the Part Time 8 MBA

On May the 8th saw the holding of the Fifth Annual Meeting. Chaired by Pau Verrié, Director General of IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the event included a speech by Alfons Claver, Director of International Marketing for Vueling, titled “Vueling: the construction of a leading brand”.
At a cocktail reception after the session, the MBA participants had the opportunity to mingle with past and present colleagues, and, in a relaxed setting, share experiences and talk about future projects.
Also, on the 31st May, the graduation for the Part Time 8 MBA was held, presided over by Vice-Rector Maria Morras. Also attending were Joan Canals, President of the Pulligan group, Vice-President of Foment del Treball and Vice-President of the Intertextil Counsel of Spain, who gave a talk entitled “New Commercial and Economic Systems in the Framework of Globalization”.
Following the awarding of the degrees and a congratulatory cocktail, a dinner was held with an awards ceremony for the best academic records and the best business plan.
